Installation
Cables are run neatly through ceiling voids, risers and trunking, terminated at both ends and dressed into the cabinet properly. Disruptive work is scheduled around your hours.

Testing and handover
Every run is tested and labelled, and you receive the test results. Sockets match the patch panel, so future support is straightforward.
How much does data cabling cost?
Cabling is normally priced per point, and the rate depends on cable specification, routes and how much containment is needed. We survey first and give you a fixed written quotation, and because the labour is the biggest cost, we will tell you honestly when it is worth pulling better cable for the same visit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose Cat5e or Cat6 cabling?
Cat5e handles gigabit speeds and is still fine for many small offices. Cat6 gives more headroom, supports higher speeds over shorter runs and costs only a little more to install, which is why we recommend it for most new installations — the labour is the expensive part, so it makes sense to pull cable you will not need to replace. For longer 10 gigabit runs or noisy electrical environments, Cat6a is the step up.
Is the cabling tested after installation?
Yes. Every outlet is tested and labelled, and you receive test results confirming each run performs to its rated standard. Sockets are numbered to match the patch panel, so whoever supports your IT can find their way around the cabinet without guesswork.
Can you install network points without disrupting the office?
Usually, yes. Cables run through ceiling voids, risers and trunking, and noisy or intrusive work can be done outside your working hours. For occupied offices we agree the routes and the schedule before we start, so your team can keep working.
Can you fix slow or unreliable Wi-Fi?
Often the answer is properly positioned, cabled wireless access points rather than a stronger router. We survey the building, find the dead spots and install ceiling or wall mounted access points cabled back to your network, giving consistent coverage across offices, warehouses and multi-floor buildings.
Do CCTV and access control run on the same cabling?
Modern IP cameras, door controllers and intercoms run over the same structured cabling as your computers, usually powered over the network cable itself. If you are planning CCTV or access control as well as data points, having one team design and install the cabling for all of it is cheaper and tidier than running separate projects — and that is exactly what we do.
